Daffodil Dip

| this dip is one of the best; it is firmer than most dips and the anchovy |
| flavor, delightful! |

| 1 package | (8 ounce) cream cheese |
| 1/2 cup | mayonnaise |
| | l2 cup chopped fresh parsley |
| 1 clove | garlic, crushed, peeled, minced |
| 1 Tbsp | anchovy paste |
| dash | pepper |
| 2 Tbsp | chopped vidalia or sweet type onion |
| 1 | hardcooked egg yolk |
| |
| soften cheese and add mayonnaise. blend well. add parsley and remaining |
| ingredients, except egg yolk. mix well. sprinkle egg yolk on top. serve |
| with vegetable dippers such as cauliflowerets, celery sticks, radish |
| roses, cherry tomatoes, carrot sticks. this is also good to serve with |
| crackers. makes 1 l/2 cups dip. |
