Shortbread Puffs

| 1 cup | butter |
| 1 cup | flour |
| 1/2 cup | confectioners sugar |
| 1/2 cup | cornstarch |
| 1/4 tsp | salt |
| |
| soften butter and beat until foamy. sift rest of ingredients together |
| and work into butter a little at a time, beating well after each |
| addition. drop by teaspoonfuls onto non-stick cookie sheet. bake at |
| 300:f. about 10-12 minutes. watch carefully! should be barely brown. |
| makes 70 to 75 small cookies. |
