Mexican Cocktail Sauce

| 3/4 cup | chili sauce |
| 1 medium | jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced |
| 2 Tbsp | freshly minced parsley or cilantro |
| | juice of 1 lime |
| 1 Tbsp | mescal or tequila (optional) |

| combine all ingredients and mix well. chill and serve. |
