Idiot Rolls

| 2 | beaten eggs |
| 1 cup | cold water |
| 3/4 cup | sugar |
| 3/4 cup | solid vegetable shortening (crisco) |
| 1 stick | margarine |
| 1 cup | boiling water |
| 2 | packages yeast |
| 1/2 cup | lukewarm water |
| 7 cup | self-rising flour |
| |
| mix eggs, cold water and sugar in large bowl. in a |
| small bowl, mix |
| shortening, margarine and boiling water. dissolve |
| yeast in half a cup |
| of lukewarm water. mix all together in large bowl. add |
| flour and mix |
| well. cover and refrigerate. let stand overnight. |

| when ready to make rolls, knead dough until it is |
| flexible enough to |
| roll out on pastry cloth or floured wax paper to |
| thickness desired. |
| (rolls will rise a lot while baking.) cut out with |
| biscuit cutter, fold |
| over in half and dip both sides in margarine. put on |
| baking sheet and |
| bake at 450 degrees 7 to 10 minutes. |
