| 3 cup | sugar |
| 1/2 cup | butter (not margarine) |
| 1 cup | evaporated milk |
| 7 oz. | marshmallow creme |
| 1-1/4 cup | peanut butter |
| 1 tsp | vanilla |
| 1 cup | chopped nuts (optional) |
| |
| combine sugar, butter, and evaporated milk; mix well and bring to a |
| boil. turn heat to medium and cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly. add |
| marshmallow creme, peanut butter, vanilla, and nuts. beat candy real |
| good. pour into a buttered dish or pan and cool. |

| 1 cup | granulated sugar |
| 1/2 cup | peanut butter |
| 1/3 cup | milk |
| 1 Tbsp | light corn syrup |
| 1/3 cup | chopped peanuts |
| 1 tsp | vanilla |
| 2 to 2-1/4 cup | powdered sugar |

| butter loaf pan 9x 5x 3. mix granulated sugar, milk, peanut |
| butter, and corn syrup in sauce pan. heat to a boiling over medium heat, |
| stirring frequently. boil and stir 1 minute; remove from heat. cool, |
| without stirring, until bottom of pan is lukewarm, about 45 minutes. |
| stir in nuts and vanilla. add powdered sugar until mixture is very |
| stiff. press into pan. refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes. cut |
| into 1 inch squares. |

| 2 cup | sugar |
| 1/3 cup | corn syrup |
| 1/2 cup | milk (or 3/4 cup milk and 1/4 cup cream) |
| 1 Tbsp | nestle quik |
| 1/2 tsp | salt |
| 1 tsp | vanilla extract |
| 1 cup | plus 1 tablespoon peanut butter |

| butter the bottom and sides of a 9-inch square-baking pan. combine |
| the sugar, corn syrup, milk, quik, and salt in a 3-quart saucepan over |
| medium heat. stir until the sugar dissolves and the mixture begins to |
| bubble. when it comes to a full boil, insert a candy thermometer. stir |
| frequently, checking the temperature regularly. when the mixture reaches |
| 234 degrees f (the softball stage), remove from heat. watch carefully! |
| now quickly stir in the vanilla and peanut butter. when the peanut |
| butter is thoroughly blended in, pour the fudge into the buttered pan |
| and smooth the top. when cool, cut into squares. |
