| 4 oz. | white pearl onions |
| 8 oz. | frozen green peas |
| 3 cup | cooked rice |
| 1 Tbsp | vegetable oil |
| 1 tsp | turmeric |
| 1/4 tsp | ground ginger |
| 1 tsp | seasoned salt |
| 1/4 tsp | seasoned pepper |
| 2 tsp | lemon juice |

| heat oil in a frying pan. add turmeric and ginger and cook for a few |
| seconds or until you can smell the toasted turmeric. add onions and stir |
| to coat. cook for about three minutes. add the peas, salt, pepper and |
| lemon juice. stir to coat. cover and cook for about eight minutes or |
| until tender. stir occasionally. add rice and stir to mix thoroughly. |
| heat through. |
