Spiced Party Nuts

| here's a little different take on sugared pecans (or other nuts). |

| amount measure ingredient -- preparation method |

| 4 cup | mixed nuts |
| | almonds, pecan halves, cashews |
| 1 | egg white |
| 4 tsp | dark brown sugar |
| 2 tsp | salt |
| 1/4 tsp | cayenne pepper (or chile powder) |
| 2 Tbsp | fresh rosemary |
| | finely minced |
| |
| spread nuts on an ungreased baking sheet and bake for 10 to 15 minutes |
| at 325°, stirring occasionally. remove from oven; cool slightly. |
| beat egg white until frothy. add sugar, salt, cayenne and rosemary. |
| blend. stir in nuts and coat well. place nuts back on baking sheet and |
| return to the oven. |

| bake for about 20 minutes or until golden. |
