old fashioned toasted pecans

| 1/2 cup | butter or margerine |
| 4 cup | pecan halves |

| in skillet, melt butter. add pecans and cook just until warm and well |
| coated with butter. then spread out on a large cookie sheet and bake 15 |
| min. at 300. spread out on paper towels and salt as desired. store in |
| airtight containers. note: these can be made spicy also. just add spice |
| with salt. |
