old fashioned toasted pecans
 
1/2 cup  butter or margerine
4 cup  pecan halves
 
in skillet, melt butter. add pecans and cook just until warm and well 
coated with butter. then spread out on a large cookie sheet and bake 15 
min. at 300. spread out on paper towels and salt as desired. store in 
airtight containers. note: these can be made spicy also. just add spice 
with salt.
