Taco Party Salad

| 1 lb. | ground beef |
| | taco seasoning to taste |
| 1 head | of iceberg lettuce coarse chopped |
| 4 | ripe tomatoes chopped |
| 1 small | can of sliced black olives drained |
| 1 small | red onion chopped |
| 1 | 12 oz pkg of shredded cheddar cheese or more if desired |
| 1 package | of doritos brand cheese nacho chips crushed, use as much as desired |
| | or use crushed corn chips or tortilla chips |
| 1 bottle | catalina or french dressing |
| | alternate dressing: combine equal amounts of sour cream and salsa as |
| | needed |

| the combination is very delicious. everyone always asks for this recipe. |
| |
| brown the beef and season with taco spices , drain of any fat and cool |
| completely. everything can be prepared ahead of time but do not combine |
| until serving time or salad may get too soggy. to assemble, combine |
| everything except the dressing. add enough dressing to moisten and toss |
| before serving note: for a different dressing one may use the sour cream |
| and salsa combination. |
