spinach and white beans with garlic

| 2 | garlic cloves, minced |
| 2 Tbsp | olive oil |
| 1 lb. | spinach, coarse stems discarded, leaves |
| | washed, dried and chopped |
| 15 oz. | can white beans, rinsed and drained well |
| 2 Tbsp | balsamic vinegar |
| |
| in a skillet cook the garlic in the oil over moderate |
| heat, stirring, until it is pale golden, add the spinach, |
| and cook it, stirring, until it is wilted. add the beans, |
| vinegar, and salt and pepper to taste and simmer the |
| mixture, stirring gently, for 2 minutes. |
