soft peanut butter cookies

| 1/2 cup | raisins |
| 1/2 cup | chopped dates |
| 1 | ripe med. banana, mashed |
| 1/3 cup | unhomogenized creamy peanut |
| | butter |
| 1/4 cup | water |
| 2 | egg whites |
| 1 tsp | vanilla |
| 1 cup | rolled oats |
| 1/2 cup | whole wheat flour |
| 1 tsp | baking soda |
| |
| heat oven to 350 degrees. mix raisins, dates, banana, peanut butter, |
| water, egg whites and vanilla in large mixing bowl. beat until blended. |
| add oats, flour, and soda. mix thoroughly. drop by teaspoon onto |
| non-stick baking sheets. bake until browned on underside, about 10 |
| minutes. cool. store in air tight container. yield: 50 cookies. |
