Tea Party Queen Cakes.

| 4 oz. | or 1/4 cup butter |
| 1 tsp | baking powder |
| 4 oz. | or 1/2 cup sugar |
| 2 | eggs |
| 6 oz. | or 1 1/2 cups flour |
| | whipped cream, hundreds and thousands or cherries to decorate. |

| Cream butter and sugar. Beat eggs until thick and add alternately with |
| sifted flour and baking powder. Put into greased patty pans(these are |
| smaller than American muffin pans but you can use muffin or cupcake pans). |
| Bake 10 - 12 minutes (15-20 for cupcake size) at 375F. |
| Cool completely . Cut tops off level and save tops. Put a layer of whipped |
| cream on leveled cake. Cut tops in half to make two half circles of each. |
| Press two halves, at an angle, into cream on each cake so they stand up at |
| about a 30-45 degree angle like wings of a butterfly. Sprinkle tops with |
| hundreds and thousands or place a bit of cherry between two halves. |
