Breakfast Porridge

| 3 cup | water |
| 1-1/2 tsp | salt |
| 2 cup | old fashioned oatmeal |
| 2 | eggs |
| 1 cup | milk |
| 1/4 cup | dark molasses |
| 3 Tbsp | maple syrup |
| 1/4 cup | brown sugar |
| 1/2 tsp | cinnamon |
| 3/4 tsp | nutmeg |
| 1/2 Tbsp | ground ginger |
| 1/4 lb. | golden raisins |
| 1/4 cup | chopped walnuts |
| | lightly sweetened whipped cream or vanilla yogurt for accompaniment |

| Heat water and salt until boiling. Add oatmeal and cook for 5 minutes. |
| Cool. Combine next 10 ingredients and add to oatmeal. Pour into a greased |
| 9-inch square baking pan and bake, uncovered, in preheated 350F (175C) |
| oven for 2 hours. Serve hot topped with a dollop of whipped cream or |
| vanilla yogurt. |
