Slow Cooker Garlic Chicken

| 3 to 5 lb. | whole chicken |
| 5 clove | garlic |
| | salt and pepper |
| | lemon juice |
| | rosemary |
| | sage |
| |
| wash chicken inside and out, dust cavity with salt and pepper. squeeze |
| some fresh lemon juice into cavity and put in peeled cloves of garlic |
| and some fresh rosemary sprigs. (or use dried, if you have to). dust |
| outside with salt, pepper, and sage. tie legs together and tie the wings |
| to the body. use a small bowl or a trivet to suspend chicken out of the |
| juices. cook on low for about 7-8 hours or so until done. the chicken |
| will fall apart when you take it out but it is moist and delicious! skim |
| fat off juices and thicken with flour and/or cornstarch mixed with a bit |
| of water to make delicious gravy. |
